Good pants | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These pants were a generous size 38 waist, but a little snug in the thighs and butt. I lift weights, however, and the slight stretch in the material takes care of it. I'm not a fan of the cargo pant look, but the side pockets on these are very understated. The material is very nice. Sturdy, smooth and just the right amount of stretch. The fabric is appropriate for fall and winter wear. A bit warm for tropic and summer wear. They seem to be very well made. Pricey, but not out-of line with other high-end companies. I ordered another pair on sale. | |

Runs Small | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The Continental pants and Continental shorts (please bring these back!!) are two of the best products Patagonia makes. They are incredibly comfortable, very easy to care for, and they look great. Don't put these in the dryer, as they may shrink. Also, I wear a waist size 36 in all my other Patagonia pants and shorts, and I ordered these pants in a 38 and the fit is fine, so I would say these run a little small. | |

Great pair of pants! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These pants a great! They're good for the trail or a night on the town. The cut and fit of these pants is what makes them so versatile. They can easily transition to anywhere. They are a good pant for all four seasons of weather in the South. Just need some thermal undies in the winter. I have five pair in different colors. You'll not find a better price for them than Sierra Trading Post! | |

Great, extremely comfortable pant
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I love these. The fabric is super lightweight, breathable, and repels mild wind. Cut for formalwear, but don't feel like it. I would not expect these to be strong enough for back country use, but I've also never tried to. Recommended for when you have to dress up in warm and muggy places. | |

Great pants | |

| I always wait a couple weeks before leaving any comments on products, as I like to give myself ample opportunity to test it out. These pants are great. They fit well, look great, and the construction quality seems very good. Not much else to say but great value at STP's price | |

Sleek and comfortable | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The pants are lightweight which makes them quite comfortable for summer. The wrinkle resistance seems to hold true. Only downside, and the thing that brings them down 1 star is that Patagonia, and all of its concern for the earth, makes them in the manufacturers' playground: China. | |

Great comfort/travel pant
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Bought a pair last spring for a three week trip to Japan. Very comfortable, easy to care for. I wear them all the time back home as a casual pant. Looks good with everything from tees to Hawaiian shirts. Only wish more colors were available. | |

Nice pant, but inseam is too long
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I measured the inseam of this pant and it is 31.5 inches, not quite the 30in as advertised. My tag says "Regular" which would indicate a longer inseam for a size 32 pant. Usually I have to buy "Short" sizes when available. | |

Nice, but more "dress" than play
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Great pair of pants, but I guess I wasn't expecting the material to be so thin. They may very well be quite durable, but I'm more used to denim and canvas, I guess. They will work well for dress and special occasions. | |

Have to think about it | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have two pairs of the previous version of the Continental Pant in 34R which have been great for travel and camping. They ran tad big in waist, so I ordered 33R in the new verson. Waist was now generous enough to make me think I should have ordered a 32R, but butt and thighs were noticeably slimmer, like a slim jean and I'm not a fan of those. I returned it. | |

| A pant for just about anything, but a bit to baggy for the trails. | |
