Great Shoes | |

| These are fine shoes. They fit well, and the break-in period is short. I have trouble getting shoes and boots that fit, and these caused no problems at all during break in. They are light enough for general use or even for exercise, but they have the support for fairly rugged hiking. The lining does a great job of wicking sweat from your feet, and the GoreTex keeps water out. I will buy another pair when these wear out. | |

Great Shoe | |

| These are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have owned. Very minimal break in time. Well constructed. The soles provide great traction on a variety of surfaces, but give me a slight pause as they seem to be wearing a tad quicker than average. (may just be underestimating how much I've used them though.) Overall, a great piece of footwear, if a little expensive. | |

| Patagonia Drifter - These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They are light and durable and above all, comfortable. I had to send my first pair back to exchange because of some defective glue, but the amazing Zappos had new shoes to me within 15 hours and all was well. | |

The Right Hiking Shoe | |

| I have some foot nueropathy and have tried other hikings shoes. This shoe is comfortable and durable. No pinching and no rubbing. I can hike for miles and miles and still feel the bottoms of my feet. Excellent shoe for "d" width. Yes, the waterproof claim is accurate. | |

So Far, So Good! | |

| Great comfort right out of the box, unlike most leather hikers. Haven't really tested them in the field yet. More of a casual shoe at the moment(Oregon=Wet). Definitely seems to be constructed worthy of any other shoemaker!!! | |

| These shoes rival the toughest boots I have ever owned. They can take a serious beating and even look cool. | |

| Funky footbed - This shoe is very cool-looking. The quality of construction is high. I had to return this shoe because the footbed is funky. When I looked at the footbed it was like peering into the bottom of a boat; deep and rounded. When I put the shoes on, I had bad pressure points on the lateral surfaces of each foot near the 5th metatarsals. I was bummed that they didn't fit well because I know that Patagonia has a reputation for quality and environmental consciousness. | |

| these boots are great! light and comfortable. ive worn a set completly out and loved every minute of it. the thing is when i purchased the next pair the leaked within two months. then a three week backorder. three months later the soles of the new pair peeled and once again the boots leaked. once again backorder. bum deal | |

jury is still out | |

| Shoes are well made and very comfortable (capilene inside is terrific), but after 3 months of constant use the material on inside back of the shoe (where the pull cord is) just fell apart. My sense was that the material just couldn't stand up to the constant rubbing of the foot against the inside back of the shoe. True to form, Patagonia graciously replaced them with a new pair. I just started wearing them again and will report back. | |
