Positive Reviews:

This jacket is my second skin!

My husband bought me this jacket last year and I literally lived in...Fall, Winter and into early Spring in New England. It is incredibly light weight, packable and very warm for such a lightweight jacket. The two way zipper is great for being active and with kids. You don't feel restrained sitting, bending down or in the car. I was hoping to find it in another color for this year since I choose this over every other jacket I own every time I reach in the closet! You won't be disappointed!! You do have to be careful not to tear the fabric because it is very lightweight.

Great Looking Jacket Just Not As Warm As Expected

This jacket is super light - great to travel with. But like the other reviewer, I did not find the jacket to be as warm as expected given it is 800 down. This is a great jacket for the fall or slight chillly days but not the ideal jacket for a really cold winter day. I do like how it is a snug fit and A-line cut. Looks great. I bought a size M (normally S wear size 6) because I wanted to be able to layer below. Worked out fine.

Very warm and light weight

I couldn't believe the great price I was able to get on this jacket. Thanks Moosejaw for great service!"

A nice, slimming fall jacket

This coat was my first experience with Patagonia and I do like this coat for windy, fall days in the mid-30 degree range thru the mid-50 degree range. Coat is very light, thin, and form-fitting. Being that it was called a parka with 800 down fill, I was honestly expecting a much warmer jacket more appropriate for below-freezing temps. So, for me it's just a very nice flattering fall jacket, but not one I would recommend to anyone needing substantial warmth and wind coverage. Ordered a different down coat from Moosejaw that is much better for cold weather.
