Worn as a skirt, the Kamala has a slim-fitting waistband that sits low and sultry about the hips, and a free-flowing drape that falls below the knee. As a dress, the waist becomes the bandeau-style bodice, and the playful ties secure V-style behind the neck. Made from a blend of 55% cotton/45% Tencel that floats and feels like silk.

| Summer Skirt - What a nice little skirt for summer. It is soft and drapey and looks nice with tanks, camisoles, and lighter weight tees. And flip-flops, of course. As winter drew to a close, I wore it with boots and a long-sleeve tissue tee. It looked very sharp, but the fabric is rather sticky and unsubstantial, so don't try to wear it with tights or it will end up in a bunch around your bum. I have a bit of a tummy and tend to be hip-heavy, but the broad hipband and self-tie are very flattering. | |

| I love LOVE this skirt! It flows really nicely - it’s not too heavy and not too light - and fits me well, flattering my spare tire sitting on my hips quite nicely. I haven't worn skirts for so long, but this works for me! The color is lovely, and suits my fair skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair really well. I am 5'9" at 130lbs, and chose the medium which is perfect. Hope this review helps! Patagonia is my favorite, especially with the organic cotton and recyclable materials - very important to me! | |

| Just got the skirts in the mail - ordered the xs in plum and espresso color. The color is very pretty/vibrant. It fits fine as a skirt. However, I thought the material was very thin. Tried it on as a dress and I wouldn't wear it as a dress. I'm not big on top, but it didn't offer enough coverage! Unfortunately, I will be returning them to look for something thicker. If you don't mind the thin fabric, it's really cute! | |

| I love this as a skirt! Very comfortable and looks wonderful. I have been able to wear it throughout my pregnancy so far and am certain that I will be wearing it to the end. I agree with other reviewers that the material is a bit thin for wearing as a dress and the coverage on top can be a little less than desirable. However, I like it enough that I am thinking about ordering another in a different color. | |

| I live in San Diego where it can be quite warm, great for a day after the beach or at the beach. The fabric feels nice on your skin and for me it is the perfect length. I agree with ordering a smaller size. If I didn't read the reviews, I would have ordered a med, glad I got the small. 5'4 135lbs | |

| This makes an awesome dress and skirt. I bought a coffee colored one for a vacation and settled on a size too big (I'm a medium and I ordered a large, because it was all I could find). It was waaayyy too big. I still love it...I since ordered a plum medium and it is perfect!...I would definitely order to your size. | |

| I got this to throw over my swimsuit on vacation. The academic blue color is very pretty. Haven't worn it yet to see if it stretches out as the other reviewers said. I like the cut and how it can be worn as a dress or a skirt. If it works well, I might order another in brown. | |

| I bought this skirt for travel and it fits the bill exactly. It is very soft and wrinkle-resistant, can be dressed up (a little) or down and is flattering. I haven\'t worn it as the dress because it feels a bit short for me but it could be a good beach cover up. | |

| Just got the Kamala in shell pink. It fits perfectly, it's really cute, but the fabric is too thin... This is surprising /disappointing since it is a Patagonia. I will return it and hopefully be able to get this skirt in a darker color, or get a refund. | |
