addicted to puff-ball

Rating:*****
First bought the baby puff-ball when my son was one. Loved how snug and warm he stayed. Now, he is 3 and has the kids' puff-ball. He is comfortable and and never gets to cold (playing in snow at 20 degrees) and never gets to hot (when wearing as a fall jacket in 50 degrees). This is his ONLY jacket/fleece/sweatshirt for outside play. Don't need anything else. Not to bulky like other kids wearing these huge, stiff jackets that don't even hug the body. The puff-ball is super easy for a car seat, or baby bjorn carrier as it compresses with ease and is not bulky at all. Now, I am pregnant and can't wait to buy the puff-ball bunting for new baby. Please make this jacket for mom too.

It's even got pockets!

Rating:*****
We had the puffball for our son as a toddler, and just got this one in plaid now that he's 3 and a half. This jacket is super warm, perfect for carseats and chariots, and now, for rolling in the snow, sledding and was cozy on our yurt trip last week. He's refusing to wear the blue side though, because there are POCKETS in the plaid side!! He thinks this is the best new feature, compared to his toddler version. Our younger son is now whooping it up in his brother's last puff ball and so the story will go in years ahead.... the benefits of two boys!!

"I love this jacket and it didn't hurt my pockets."

Rating:*****
The service at my local moosejaw store in ann arbor was wonderful. The sales person was informative and helpful in my purchase of this jacket. I told him that I was on a budget and he remembered that sometimes his girlfriend would buy children's sized clothes in order to save money. The jacket he had my try on fit perfectly, looked great on me, and was within my budget. I didn't want to sacrifice quality with the amount of money I was going to spend and the sales people at my local moosejaw saw to it that I could achieve that goal.

Adults like it too! :)

Rating:*****
I'm 25 and I bought this jacket for myself! :) XL works just great. I receive many compliments on the awesome floral pattern and the reversible side is a really beautiful purple/maroon color. The only down fall I see with this coat is that once turned to reversible side (purple) the pockets are not accessible. Overall, it's a great layer and with a hood! :)

nice coat

Rating:*****
I was having trouble finding the right coat for my 9 year old son...he did not want bulky but I wanted warm (we live in CT and winters can be cold). I think this is the perfect fit for both of us since it can be layered on tose really cold days. Fit is true to size and I LOVE Patagonia!

Lightweight and comfortable

Rating:*****
My son (6.5yrs) loves this coat. It fits perfectly and the hood is tapered in to keep the wind out. He says it is really warm, but I think we'd pair it with a fleece for the coldest winter days in Chicago. It is very well-made, like all of Patagonia products, and the customer service is top notch.

"Buy it."

Rating:*****
This jacket is beyond awesome. It is super cozy and comfortable without being bulky at all. We live in a frozen tundra but my kids have been out shredding while sledding without complaining at all about the cold. And the reversibility makes it a twofer ... how cool is that?

Great Print

Rating:*****
I am 29 and I just purchased this great jacket for myself. It fits a bit bigger than I expected. I wound up buying a size large instead of an xlarge. The print and the weight of the jacket are superb. I love the maroon side with contrasting stitching.

happy happy fall

I got this for my daughter, age 10. She has been joyfully wearing this to the farmers market, raking leaves, bike riding, and more. Not only that everywhere she goes she gets compliments on how cute this jacket is-way to go Mom!

"Great Coat!"

Rating:*****
Great coat and very versatile! I can't get over how light and warm it is. More importantly, My 4 1/2 year old loves it - Why not: "It's pink & purple Daddy!" Thanks for making me (and her) look so good!

if your kid is wide ...

Rating:***
My daughter had a previous version of this jacket in a size 8. Now that she's 10, she needed a bigger size. However, this jacket is so wide that two of her could fit in there. In fact, it's so big that I wear a women's size 8 and the jacket fit me fine in terms of width! We will have to send it back, which is too bad, because the colors and the pattern are beautiful.
