Also can be worn as a tube dress!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The salesgirl at Patagonia showed me that you can also wear this as a beautiful, swirly twirly tube dress!! She instructed me to purchase one size smaller than normal in order to ensure no slippage, and this worked perfectly for me. (I am normally a size 10, with 36-C bust; I prefer L as skirt but purchased M to wear as a tube dress. So the "order one size down for tube dress" rule applies to you even if you have a bigger bust and straighter hips, like I do) The terra cotta color looks fabulous with my dark hair and eyes, and my husband was smitten with both this and the blue one! In the end, he bought me the terra cotta one as a present. This is a very flattering, feminine, flexible piece, and I look forward to wearing it all spring and summer! My only recommendation to Patagonia would be to make this skirt in organic cotton, as well! | |

Finding a perfect skirt

| I love morning glory skirt, as I of course support concepts of Patagonia. It is very comfortable and easy to wear piece of garmet which brings lots of lightness to woman appearance and to spirit of course - not to mention it is mood lifter! I like clean line, fit, and most of all, elegance in its simplicity. I'm still trying to determine most optimal temperature range when is most practical to wear it - darker colors and long lenght seem too hot for the summer, while nylon fabric offers little warmth in cooler climates. Probably during transition from summer and mostly throughout Fall in California, when temperatures are rarely below 50, it is great. I hope you expand color choices in a future. Yes, skirt is simply an easy and versatile choice for many occasions. | |

rocks my world | |

| this skirt rocks. i bought it for a trip to the beach in florida and ended up wearing it a lot of the time i was there. day on the beach... night it is dressy enough for a nice restaurant. extremely versatile, you could wash it in the sink in a hotel room and hang it in the shower and it would be ready to wear again the next day. i will definitely take one of these in a few colors on my next backpacking trip overseas. i am only 5'2" but found the length to be very flattering. but you can also adjust the length by using the fold over waistband design. i wear mine folded over about 4 inches at the waist. i usually wear a medium and the medium fits great. | |

A great all-purpose skirt

| I have two of these now, thanks to the summer sale. Love the fabric--stays cool, doesn't cling, doesn't get sweaty. The style is super--lots of compliments--and the pattern is fun, too. It's the same fabric as in the Bandha dress. I love the length--doesn't blow up in sudden storm drafts, and I can ride my bike in it without fear. It sways with you--sort of an aging ballerina look on me! The roll-over waist sometimes rolls back up, but it doesn't really bunch, so no problem. Washes and dries like a dream, and the fabric never snags. Great with flats or heels--you can dress it up or down. For really fancy, probably go with a solid color! | |

best skirt ever | |

| I now own 3 of these in different colors and use them for everything. I even wear them for hiking and river trips. Perfect for warm weather, I just throw on some tights underneath if it gets cooler. I wear them in winter with tights and boots. When I go kayaking, I can pull my bottoms on under the skirt, then take the skirt off. Voila! Mobile change room. It is a great travel skirt, nothing to set off alarms at airport check in and it doesn't wrinkle. Pair it with a nice top and sandals and it is good to go for an evening out. | |

much love for this fabric!

| I buy a new Morning Glory skirt every season -- I currently have 5 in my "collection"! My purchase this year was the Afterglow color, and it's very pretty mellow orange. I can't say enough wonderful things about this skirt. It really does go everywhere! I've worn this as a tube dress out to dinner & dancing, to work paired with a top, and to backyard barbeques with a tank top. The fabric feels so soft on the inside and is very breathable. The only thing I would request is that Patagonia would also make this skirt in a knee-length version! Please? | |

It works for biking! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I love this skirt! I biked to work on my first day wearing it and there were no embarrassing accidents! The hem falls a few inches below my knees on my bike and stays down on every relatively flat surface. The bottom only works it's way up if I'm climbing a steep hill - but it's really easy to nudge it down again. Turning the skirt into a strapless dress is also really fun. I do need to wear a strapless bra to help hold up the dress, so if you want it for that purpose, order a size down. | |

The perfect skirt | |

| I now own two of these skirts. They have a flattering fit and are durable enough to wear anywhere. This summer I took this skirt with me on a month long climbing trip in Europe to wear as something nicer than my regular climbing bum clothes, it never looked like it came out of the bottom of my climbing bag (although it did) and it always looked classy enough to keep my from looking like just another dirtbag. I also wear this skirt for work and get tons of compliments. I just wish that it came in more colors. | |

| I ordered the Patagonia Morning Glory skirt in size large. I also ordered the matching top both in black. I had an issue with which size to get, but with the fast fabulous service of Zappos, had one back in the mail and exchanged within a matter of a couple of days. This top and skirt in black make a great backdrop to put fun colorful cardigans and jackets as well as draping of color in scarves, and what could be easier to throw on some great jewelry and a jean jacket. Couldn't be easier, very versatile. | |

the perfect skirt | |

| i bought this skirt in black and the periwinkle blue color and they both are versatile, however, the black can go anywhere, anytime...i swear. i wear the skirts in hawaii, where i live, and i have been wearing the black skirt on the mainland with cashmere sweaters and uggs and it looks and feels great. i love this skirt so much that i am going to buy the printed blue and the rust colored ones. i am so content with the morning glory; it doesn't wrinkle and the black looks clean constantly- REALLY! | |

| This skirt didn't work for me-- I wanted a basic black travel skirt, and this one isn't quite right. The tech fabric is stretchy and a bit shiny (like yoga pants) and quite thick. The fold-over waist band would probably get quite hot in certain climates. Also, there is just a lot of fabric on this very full skirt. If you're looking for a skirt for travel that folds small, this isn't the right bet. But could work as a casual skirt, if you like the style. | |

Great fit, Material too thick
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The fit and style of this skirt is great -- comfortable fold over waist and sits well on the hips, good length, falling below the knees....unfortunately, while the material is nicely stretchy, it's too heavy and wrinkles pretty easily (strange for a synthetic...). I bought if for travel to Asia, doesn't seem ideal for heat and humidity, so I'm returning. i'd love to see a lighter weight version like the Vitaliti/Versatiliti offshoot. | |

Not for Me | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The sizing on this one is a bit off - I'm usually a medium and found this to be quite snug. Also, it was too long for me. On someone taller it would be cute, but on my 5"3" body it just looked silly. I was bummed to return it because I love Patagonia products. | |

| Long-ish - I find the skirt to be longer than I had expected: I am 5'6" and ordered size Medium. Otherwise it fits well and is very comfortable. | |
