Patagonia's Men's R1 Flash Pullover: A technical pullover designed as a baselayer or light mid-layer for a variety of alpine pursuits.
Between colorful trails, crisp granite edges and verglas, some people wish October would last forever. If it did, the R1 Flash Pullover might be the only top you’d ever need. Its high/low grid interior stretches, breathes, moves moisture, and insulates whether worn next-to-skin, with a thin baselayer or as an insulating midlayer when November rolls around. Low-grid polyester stretch panels under the arms and at the wrists and hem decrease bulk and increase breathability. With an external mesh-lined chest pocket. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

| Spending over three months living and working in the field this past year, I will say this is the most versatile, most comfortable, and most-complimented fleece I own. I'm pretty sure I can count on one hand the number of days I haven't worn it since May. I normally fit a men's small in Patagonia, and the cut is spot-on. Slight (slight) room for layers underneath, nice close fit to keep the heat in and look snazzy. And the color is a fabulous--a really classy warm brown. Goes great with jeans for when you're not on the mountain. There's no better fleece for a summer time warm layer, or a fall live-in piece. | |

| looks great, fits great, feels great, and the (rarity) of a right breasted pocket is the perfect place to keep extra shotgun shells for loading while on target. | |

| The R1 flash is basically the best garment ever made. R1 performs well over a wide variety of temps and conditions. You can't go wrong. | |
