The Men's Synchilla Vest by Patagonia is made of soft, recycled polyester fleece. The Men's Synchilla Vest is Patagonia's time-honored torso-warmer.
Worn over a tee it warms a Red Butte concert, and worn under a shell it heats up a cold powder day. When a shirt isn't enough and a jacket's too much, this versatile core-warmer keeps you comfortable without restricting movement. It's made from ultrasoft, lightweight double-faced polyester fleece (85% recycled) that's just thick enough to keep the chill out. With zippered handwarmer pockets and elasticized armholes and hem.
The time-honored Patagonia Synchilla® Vest can be worn over a shirt in cool weather or under a jacket for additional insulation when you’re out in the cold. Made of a soft midweight recycled polyester fleece with two zippered handwarmer pockets, the Synchilla® Vest holds body heat close to your core and offers full freedom of movement when you're setting up camp, sorting gear or stepping out on the slackline. With full front zip, stand-up collar and elasticized bindings on armholes and hem.
A vest, for the best.

Ordered one of these on sale from the Patagucci website. Turns out it is my go-to vest. Not fancy, no windblocking, but jeez its durable, the zipper still works 2 years later, and its not pilling after intensive wear. Insulates great for all my outdoor activities, but the bold colors work to throw on top of a nice shirt for a cold day at the office. I'm 6'2 185 and lanky - i wear a medium that fits perfectly.
Great for the office - nice comfortable fleece, looks great in a business casual environment. Fit is definitely on the bigger side, I'm generally between a medium and large (6ft, 180lbs) - slim fits don't work for me - I ordered the medium and its perfect. Wear it most of the day, five days a week. Love it.
This vest is awesome! Feel's great and the price is right! I have washed this vest now about 5 times and it still holds its color and looks good. I have gone outside in 30 degree weather with the vest and tshirt and it has kept me very comfortable.
There's a reason Mork wore a vest in Boulder! In CO, the air temp is usually cool but the sun is killer. Jackets with sleeves are too warm. This fleece vest looks awesome and isn't too heavy.
I'm 5'11 & 175lbs, and the medium fits perfectly.
My only problem with this vest was that it was undersized (an XL in other brands). Good quality fleece but you pay for it- I paid full price $70!
