A street-smart down jacket with a sporting attitude, now with higher-fill-power goose down
Higher-fill goose down this season | Zip-through stand-up collar with wind flap | Unquilted side panels for a sleek silhouette | Zippered handwarmer pockets, drop-in interior mesh pockets, interior security chest pocket | Floral-print lining (except black) | Hip length
Smart enough for a 57th Street gallery hop, warm enough for downtown Duluth. Feminine chevron quilting and a regular fit reduce the bulk but not the warmth of this sleek, smart hip-length jacket. Insulated with 600-fill-power premium goose down, it has a shell made from downproof 100% recycled polyester treated with a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish. A floral print (except in black) lines the body. With zippered handwarmer pockets and two internal drop-in mesh pockets. A zippered interior chest pocket stows cash or cell.
Shell and Lining: 2.3-oz 100% recycled polyester. Insulation: 600-fill-power goose down
What’s the upside of down? How about compressibility, high warmth-to-weight ratio, and durability – all of which you’ll get in the Patagonia Women’s Upside of Down Jacket. This casual down jacket features 600-fill down and a fully recycled polyester shell that keeps you toasty warm through all of your urban or outdoor adventures. The slim fit and formal interior print give this jacket some feminine style, and the zippered hand-warmer pockets have you covered when you forget your gloves.

Great all-around down jacket!

I originally ordered this from BC but later located one in the color I want and can't complain about the 40% less so returned BC's. However, I highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a casual down jacket. This is a good weight down jacket for the wet Westcoast winter - light, warm and water resistant. It is a classic design, slim fitting around the waist, so there is not much room allowance for layering, so order your size according to the size chart if you like it fitted or size up for layering. I am 5'1'' and normally wears Small - the "small" in this jacket fits around the shoulders, the sleeves are slightly long (I am okay with that) and the waist is snug. A medium would give me more room in the waist but then the rest would be too big, so kept the Small. I am very pleased with my new purchase.

I've had this jacket for a year now, and it's what I pack when I'm traveling and will need both a casual jacket and one that can work for a semi-dressy situation on a cold night. It's very versatile that way - it's not too puffy, the pockets are flush and very low-profile, and the cut is feminine. It's very warm considering its size. I'm 5'11"/135lbs and the medium fits me perfectly. It's not as snug and fitted as the backcountry luft 800, but it's well proportioned.

Great jacket . Light and easy , but warm . Not bulky at all and fits nice on a woman's figure. Got it in burgundy ( berry?) color. The only downside is that the collar and sleeves get dirty extremely easily- maybe the fabric absorbs body oil/ dirt more than others. Other than that it's a perfect little ,warm jacket with enough space underneath to put a vest on very cold days. I got an xs and am about 5,5" and 110lbs. Really happy with it.

I bought this jacket for my sister. At first she said it was just ok. But 1 week later, she says she is not sure how she ever lived without it. The one issue with the jacket, is the size, she ordered a medium, and it runs a little small. She is 5'4" and about a size 6.

I am really happy with this stylish down jacket. It is very light but warm and cozy. The olallaberry color is really nice. I ordered my usual size - medium - but it seems to run on the slim side.
