This warm, stretchy and fast-drying, technical zip-neck pullover works as either insulation or as an outer layer for high-output activities in cool to cold conditions.
High-country scrambles require physical endurance, mental fortitude and the right choice of technical gear to get you through the day. The Stretch Velocity Zip-Neck is made from 5.7-oz Polartec® Power Dry® 95% polyester (65% recycled)/5% spandex – a fast-wicking fabric that dries quickly and provides great next-to-skin comfort. It can be worn as a baselayer in cold weather or as a primary layer when you're going all out. Its smooth face slides easily under layers, while the internally brushed surface wicks moisture to help keep you dry and warm. A front quarter-zip with a zipper garage vents excess body heat. "Barely there" seams are light, strong, snag-resistant and offset at the shoulders to reduce chafing. Y-Joint sleeves enhance mobility. The stealthy thumb loops hold the cuffs in place under gloves, and a slightly dropped tail provides additional coverage. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Warm Enough For Me! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I've been a year round bicycle commuting in North Dakota for two years, and this is my coat of choice for nearly all weather conditions, even winter. With several layers I can wear this pullover even as the temperature dips below zero. The thumb loops are a must, they keep the cold out and the heat in. The deep zipper is also nice, when I get too hot I zip it down to cool off. The extra length is also a must, it keeps my bum warm even while bent over -- you can also tuck easily tuck it in. I previously had a M but got a S instead since the fabric can really stretch. I love the Kolisma: Vermillion colour, its so fun and eye-catching. | |

| This is the best ever!!!! I don't really even want to let you all in on the secret, as I don't ever want it to be sold out!!! I absolutley LOVE this shirt! I ran in it on a cold day here and it was great!!!!! I wear it to work, the gym, and even just around the house!!!! I did need to order an x-s. I am 5'5 and weigh about 112 right now, which is heavy for me, would not expect to be xs anymore .... ordered a small orginally but returned for xs and it is perfect!!!! Can't help but love Patagonia!!! Keep them coming!!!! | |

So warm! | |

| This is the warmest top I own. I wore it around Vail under a Talus and it was amazing. It's very long, especially in the back. The sleeves are pretty long, especially with the thumb-holes, but comfortable. The neck is very high when it's zipped all the way up -- which is great for being outside, more of a pain if you're just wearing the top around the house or to run errands. But for exercising in the cold this is fantastic! | |

all around good-ness! | |

| i love this zip neck. i have 2 of them now and i have to say my only complaint is that i like the black one better than the white one. the black one never pills or looks worn looking. whereas the white one does pill a little and after 2 months looks quite worn. they are the most versatile"sweater" though. i exercise in them, wear them with blue jeans walking the dogs, and even sleep in them when camping. they rock! | |

Great top | |

| I love the new top... I ordered a small, because I am on the thin side, but tall. This top is nice and long... sleeves are long, too. I love the thumb loops to keep the wrists warm. The neck is long and soft, too and doesn't constrict breathing like some other t-necks do. The seam around the wrist is a bit thick, though, and might be tight when warn inside x-c ski gloves. | |

| I love the length in the body of this garment as it tucks in deep and prevents cold air and snow from getting in during a tumble on the slopes. It works great on its own or as a second layer. The thumb holes aren't a big hit with me as the fabric is too thick to get into my gloves, but they're easy to roll up and be out of the way. | |

functions great/looks great | |

| I have used this piece for running in colder temperatures and love the warmth for weight ratio and the comfort is amazing. The thumbholes are a great feature to keep fingers free for ipod/phone usage and they are very comfortable. The fabric wicks quickly for someone like me that sweats profusely. It has the perfect amount of stretch and washes easily, drying in just minutes. | |

Best Purchase Ever | |

| The Stretch Velocity is the most breathable, warm and wind resistant layer I've owned. I have been perfectly comfortable in very cold temperatures but also in slightly warmer temperatures. It makes a great piece for biking because of its wind resistant properties. It also makes a great piece for hiking in cold conditions because of its breathability! It dries super quick as well. | |

Great!! | |

| I found this to fit a lot better than the R1 Flash Pullover and be just as warm. Combined with the Wind Shield Jacket, I use this for winter running in the single digits and below zero temps. The thumb holes ensure that the sleeves don't ride up and that there is never a gap between my gloves and wrist! | |

Worth every penny! | |

| I bought the Velocity Zip Neck and it is amazing! It fits very well, just enough room to wear a thin layer underneath, but still keeps its tailored look. It keeps you amazingly warm when worn skiing, but looks good enough on to wear around also! Definately a great purchase! | |

too much PILLING! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I am really disappointed in this product. I wore it for 3 days before the sleeves and cuffs had pills all over them. It looked like I'd owned and worn it for a year. I LOVE the fit, feel and the thumb holes, which is why I can't bring myself to take it back. I've worn it a ton and can't bring myself to wash it because I'm afraid the pilling will get worse. It is very warm and I have the black color, which I imagine doesn't show the pilling as bad as the other two colors. Honestly, if Patagonia would fix the pilling problem on this item, I would own it in every color. But if it happened this fast, I'm afraid how bad it will get. | |

So comfy, but it pills | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have had this beautiful pullover for only two weeks and have worn it for daily walks. It is already developing pills under the arms and at the cuffs, so I am going to return it. It's very nice that it is made of recycled materials, but for the price it should not be pilling. | |

good warm layer | |

| A little bulky cut. Great color and sleeve length maybe just a thinner material from the arm pits down would slim down the layer. | |
