The Men's Watermaster Waders remain quantitatively tough, puncture-resistant and breathable. They feature our innovative internal suspension system that allows relief without removing jacket or vest. Blackberries, barbwire, basalt . the fact is, we ask a lot of our waders . most importantly, that they keep us dry through all sorts of abuse. The new version of our Watermaster Waders accomplishes this on a number of fronts: First, our proprietary waterproof/breathable polyester microfiber fabric package with H2No Hydrostorm barrier is quantitatively more puncture resistant than the competition. Then, because wet is wet, whether it comes from inside or out, we use lighter, more breathable fabric up top and a tougher version below. Finally, and not to be overlooked, the improved version of our innovative internal suspension system makes it easier than ever to, uh . relieve yourself without taking off jacket or vest. Something to consider in a driving rainstorm. It all adds up to an incredibly dry, durable and lightweight pair of waders. In other words, Watermasters. Field repair kit included.

| These waders are good. The best part of the design is the ability to turn the waders into pants. The knees & seat won't be able to fend off barnacles too long. So if you don't want to tear them DON'T climb on & off rocks, stay on the beach. Hey Patagonia design team, how about an r4 wet suit with Condura on the elbows, knees & seat? We need that! | |

| I've used both the GW waders and the WM waders. Both are excellent but I find I spend more time in the WM's. They are my all-the-time waders (saltwater and fresh). When I head to BC in October or Montana in April then I take the GW waders for the wool-grid warmth and higher coverage. In my opinion, the WM's are the best wader for the money out there. | |

| This is my second pair of watermaster waders. The first pair, I returned without problem because the seams were leaking in 3 different places. I ascertained this by turning the waders inside out and filling them with the garden hose - this after spending my latest 4 day fly fishing trip wet. Patagonia's customer service was excellent and hassle free, the exchanged my waders quickly and with no questions asked. Unfortunately, I have run into the exact same problem with these new waders. Because I feel bad returning them, yet again, I thought I would try to repair them. As before, I turned them inside out, filled them with the hose and watched the water seep in at the right shin, inner left thigh and groin area seams. I got out my repair kit and began reading instructions only to find that leaking seams cannot be patched like regular holes. I have only had these waders 1 season and they have been out in the water no more than 15 times. It is frustrating to say the least - especially considering how comfortable (aside from the leaking) and mobile I feel in them. It appears as though I have no choice but to exchange them again and hopefully the third time will be the charm. | |
