Awesome wool! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have become a big fan of wool base layers. Have been wearing for several years some heavier ones from another great shop, but just tried the Wool2's from Patagonia and am thrilled! I particularly love the bottoms as I am in a business suit professionally most weekdays and I have began to wear them under my slacks and love it. They are so thin and sheer, and as a result are not hot while indoors, but when you step out into the wind they become quickly appreciated! We cover our top half with coats, etc, but your legs are pretty exposed during the winter months when wearing a business suit outdoors. I plan to start doing this every day during cold season...better grab some more pairs! | |

Good base layer | |

| The last trip I used these on was a six day paddling trip on Georgian Bay back in May of 2008. I wore them for the duration and though I was a bit rank the underwear weren't. Really. I wear wool as often as I can and these long underwear are great. I really like the feel agaist the skin. Not itchy at all. Very comfortable and definately warm. I'll be wearing them a lot again this winter season for skiing and any outdoor adventure that comes my way. Thanks. | |

great work wool bottoms

| These wool bottoms are used for winter work on skis. I need something that works during aerobic work and just standing around waiting. I use this base layer everyday. Even when they get super wet, they work great. Although not recommended, I put the bottoms into the clothes dryer - after one season of continuous use, no problems. | |

"Patagonia - it's what's for winter!"

| these are warm and a great baselayer. I wore them under Marmot cargo pants and they did well, excellent wicking properties, great fit. Patagonias quality comes through here - if your looking for a light base layer, you've found it. They work well and are so comfortable, you don't even know you have them on. | |

Wool Rocks!!! | |

| Wool has a wide temp range that really comes to the forefront during spring ski tours. Warm on the cold clear mornings under softshell pants and super breathable later in the day when the solar heats things up. Have worn nothing but wool for several years now in the winter and spring. | |

"Great super fine wool bottom!"

| It is super fine, super soft ans super light. It feels so comfortable that I wear it in bed. I also have the Icebreaker skin 200 bottom. Although it is also nicd, this one beats it hand down. | |

| I don't usually need extra layers, but these are light, warm and unobtrusive, perfect for my first time back to skiing in many years. Glad I bought them. Now if only they were less expensive. | |

A little big, a little lite
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Sizing ran larger than other Patagonia products I've used. A little too thin for alpine and hike-to-ski. Loose fit in ankle area troublesome with ski boots | |
