Great Booty :) | |

These are some really nice booties! They were modeled somewhat after the old school shimano shoe covers which were amazing. They have great flexibility and cutouts in all the right spots. I definitely like hook and loop rather than the old school 100% velcro. You don't end up screwing up all that lycra in the gear bag! PI made some really nice improvements on them......LED's to be specific. I used these shoe covers in very cold temps, also in heavy wind/rain in Holland and they were champs. They may seem a little pricey, but you can trust me....they're worth every last penny. Especially when you're in the thick of it and the alternative is a set of cold, wet feet.

Toasty toes | |

Another quality product from Pearl Izumi. My feet have never been as warm as the last few rides. Even through the cold wet German winter. My 11.5 shoes fit just right in the XL. I did need to cut away a little around my toe cleat, but the fabric around the toe allows for this without any tearing or ripping. I don't see myself needing a new pair of booties for a long time.

If you are on the cusp of a size and have a BOA or similar lacing system I would recommend sizing UP. Otherwise per usual PI equipment is fantastic!
