When you want every inch to be as aerodynamic as possible, pull the Pearl Izumi Wind Shoe Covers over your shoes and ankles. Pearl Izumi made these lightweight shoe covers with a polyurethane-coated fabric that creates a tight, slick fit. The ¾-length locking zipper and a finger loop make it easy to get into the Wind Shoe Covers, while an elastic silicone gripper at the top prevents slippage. A cutaway sole makes cleat integration easy.

Cold feet?

Rating:****

I bought these covers to keep my feet out of the wind and the cold - and they're awesome! Haven't tried them at freezing temps yet, but at a cold autumn day, they're all you need as long as you're moving along on your bike. They look a bit "freaky" like you've got some kind of latex fettish but that's also what makes them optimal for road racing since they stick 100% close to your feet. Buy them if you need something to keep your feet warm on those chilly wet autumn rides.

Feel Fast

Rating:****

Not sure if they really make me any faster, but I feel faster which counts.....right.
