Inexpensive, high quality product, good performance, very light. Recommended.

This rack is somewhat unconventional in its design (2 steady bars and a "flopper") compared to what I'm used to, but I really enjoy using it. At first I thought the non-breaking bars (red anodized) would make the rack more difficult (or at least time consuming) to pack. Turns out after packing the rack a couple of times I was actually quicker with it than the ones I was used to rappelling with (SMCs, etc..). It's very lightweight and small. It's like carrying a micro rack but it functions like a full sized one. It's fast- the slick surface of the bars allows the rope to move quickly with ease, so some practice and adjustments to one's form would be wise prior to using the rack with a bi

Great Descender

I ordered this because I saw a fireman exibition and this is what they used to rescue a guy from a building so I figured it must be pretty good. I've used it to descend out of trees (I trim trees for fun) and I love it. It's solid feeling, easy to figure out, and pretty resonably priced. I like it way more than my figure eight or grigri. It's hard to describe but it just feels very predictable.

Good for specific applications

This is a good rack. However, it is aluminum and many people will not let you on their lines dry caving community with an aluminum rack. I will be returning this and moving to a stainless rack.
