Safety Light 5/5, Headlight 4/5 | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have found this light to be an excellent front safety light on commutes and night rides and a good front headlight as well. The mount makes it easy to tune the angle of the beam to be hitting the ground far enough out that the light can work as a headlight. As long as you're not moving super fast and on roads as opposed to trails the light is plenty bright for this purpose as well. Its far brighter than most of my bikey friends' front lights and I end up lighting the way--even if I'm not riding lead! Just remember to get a strong rear blinky light--it's not the cars in front of you that are going to run you over... | |

Good compact light | |

| The above reviewer is not using this light for its intended purpose. It is a SAFETY LIGHT, not a headlight. Its only purpose is for other vehicles and people to see you, which it does fine at a great price. It is not intended to light your way down a dark country road or something. Well recommended! | |

| This light should not be used to see in the dark, its for people to see you.. if you want a headlight than you will end up paying more money. REI is the best place for you cycling needs | |

Better than CatEye | |

| I returned a CatEye 3LED light because it stopped working. This light is brighter, easier to mount, easier to operate, and only uses 2 AA batteries instead of 3 AAA (pain to deal with for rechargable batteries). | |
