| This clever little device has a red LED-driven light rope behind a reflective strip. When headlights shine on the band the reflective part does its job, but the LEDs provide some visibility even unilluminated. I use a pair as arm bands so I can make visible hand signals at night; unfortunately they're a bit large for this purpose, so I have to wear them at my elbow instead of around the wrist. Battery is a standard CR-2032 watch battery and pretty easy to replace, although you do need a small screwdriver. The flash/steady/off switch is a simple pushbutton and easy to accidentally turn on in your bag. | |
