Good fenders, lousy installation | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| First the good. The fenders offer excellent coverage and thus great protection from road spray. They seem durable, and don't rattle. Now the bad. They were rather difficult to install, even though my bike has the appropriate braze-ons and holes to take fenders. The installation instructions were of minimal use, hardware was missing from the package, and I broke three cable ties tightening them by hand (something I have never done with hundreds of ties before). After replacing the missing hardware from my shop, using my own cable ties, and installing and uninstalling the rear fender about 5 times, I got where it was solid and aligned properly. Not particularly easy even I do actually know what I am doing. So, I would still recommend the fenders, but plan on spending considerable time getting them installed. | |
