Perfect pocket water bottle
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I've used these water bottles for years while downhill skiing. I absolutely love it and have never seen any product which can compare. The bottle is soft, rectangular and easily slips into a jacket pocket where it goes unnoticed because it's flat and soft, yet it's available in an instant for a drink. The water doesn't freeze easily because it's insulated by your jacket. If you take a spill there is nothing hard to land on. You don't need to wear a backpack or hip pack to carry a bladder which I find uncomfortable on the lift (plus there is no tube to freeze). As the bottle empties it gets smaller. I can't tell you how many people have remarked what a great idea it is. Plus with a cost of only a few dollars it's a bargain. I recommend the small size so it easily fits in a breast pocket. | |

durable and super handy water bottles

| I have had a couple of Platypus' going on 8 years now and they still work great! They have been on many adventures in many countries through many temperature changes and have been dropped and treated poorly and they still work great. I even lost the cap to one and found out that a 2-liter pop top works as a replacement. I bought new ones last year for my fiance and his son and the quality of the newer bottles is great, too. I love that as soon as you're done with them, they take up no weight or space in your purse or pack. I have used the .5 liter, 1 liter and 2 liter sizes and like them all for different outings. | |

Great for trail dogs! | |

| I use two of these bottles in my dog's pack. I place one in each pannier to keep weight distributed evenly. The smaller size of these bottles makes it perfect for this use. He took no time at all adjusting to drinking from the top and barely any water is wasted. The only con is they are a little tipsy when filling from a trail water filter. The base is not so stable with a tube coming out the opening but this is no big deal and even so it is still much easier to fill than a collapsible without a base. | |

Must have for travellers

| This product is great for frequent fliers. Since you can no longer carry water through airport security, you are left with buying expensive bottled water in a disposible bottle for every flight. The Platy Sport takes up little room in carry on luggage and can be refilled over and over so there are no more plastic bottles to send to landfills. It paid for itself in one cross country trip. | |

Just Right | |

| I had this for a while before I found my best use for it. I carry it in the Napolean pocket on my bibs under a light shell for ski tours. I don't notice it while moving, no insulator needed, it comes out quick and it opens fast. No need to fool around with a bottle for short stops. It weighs .7 ounce, can't beat that. | |

Great little bottle | |

| Great little bottle. I bought this to use around the campsite when backpacking. I got tired of not having a bottle and lugging around my camlebak. I liked the sports top design over the standard cap on the 1 liter version. Just wish the bottle was bigger. | |

Great Water bottle | |

| This is a great water bottle not just for the outdoors, but also day-to-day. I have 3 - one for the office, one for home, and one for in the car. They're easy to grab, take up very little space, and don't add any plastic flavor. | |

Perfect Compact Bottle

| I was very impressed with my 2L Platy Bottle, but it was a little large for carrying everywhere. Then I bought the 0.5L Platy Bottle, and this is the perfect size, capacity, and portability for my usage. | |

Great Idea for a water bottle

| I would recommend this bottle for any type of hikes. The ability to collapse the bottle is more handy than you may think until you use one. | |
