Great natural flavor and no gooey mess
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I try not to consume artificial colors and flavors and was very excited when I found these. I really enjoy the natural lemon and cola flavors! And the natural color is great in place of the artificial colors found in most energy and snack products. There is no juicy gel that squirts out of these, but there is a gel inside. They are a little more chewy than most gummies, but it makes it last longer for me - and that's a good thing on a long hike or bike ride, I don't reach for another quite as often. | |

okay, but Chomps are better

| My teeth get stuck in these, my jaw actually hurt after eating a whole package (which is 2 servings). The flavor is good and the oozy gel inside is interesting flavor. Left a pack on the dash in the sunshine and they melted and had weird chemical reactions and were no longer edible--not good in the heat. Also big enough that if swallowed by accident, you'd be likely to choke. | |

New flavors are terrible

| The marketing "guru" of powerbar dropped our team favorite flavor of cola (and lemon) for these new flavors. The cola tasted like a coke bottle gummy candy. Our team tried the raspberry and thought it was horrible. We haven't tried the strawberry banana yet but my guess is we will be looking for a new brand or going back to gel packs. | |

Where's the gel? | |

| I tried the lemon flavor and was quite disappointed. The taste reminds me of lemon cleaner. Also, the picture on the wrapper shows a liquid gel squirting out of the center, but there is no such thing in the center of these. They are simply like a gummy, but a little tougher to chew. They are edible, but just barely. | |
