Positive Reviews:

Beware short shorts!

Rating:****
I ordered these shorts because I needed a nice pair for climbing with a gusseted crotch that would be durable enough to stand up to the rock. These shorts were well made and looked nice but when I put them on they were WAY too short even though the waist fit perfectly. I'd say 4-6 inches (I'm 6 foot tall 30" waist) above the knee..I guess if you normally like your shorts higher for a "full range of motion" these would be perfect for you but as for me, I'll still to my knee length "long" shorts and dignity.

"So roomy and great!"

Rating:*****
The crotch on these shorts give you so much room you could even try the splits while driving. I have driven with my hands in these shorts with a foot out both front windows. I could buy more if I fould find the store but my head is stuck below the window!

"Great for meeting your Girlfriend's parents in!"

Rating:*****
I am wearing them right now. I am also going home to visit my girlfriend's parents for the first time today. They live in Alabama but I think they will still appreciate the superb fit of these shorts.

Negative Reviews:

Stupid freaking sizing

Rating:*
I've bought several prana pants and shorts over the years and I foolishly orderd some of these shorts without trying them on. I needed a new pair of climbing shorts and bought an XL based on the last pair of pants I had and Hey! they were WAY too large! Genius! With prana stuff, sometimes I'm a large, sometimes and extra large, depending on the year and style. Why prana doesn't go with actual waist measurements is beyond me.
c_tails at Backcountry.com Outlet on 06/16/2009

Not the same Sonora shorts

Rating:**
Not the same Prana Sonora I bought at a local store. No stretch + a baggy fit.
Bill at Sierra Trading Post on 07/01/2008

Neutral Reviews:

Too Long!

Rating:***
Hmmm... the other reviewer stated that these were too short, but I'd have to say that they're way too long. I'm 6'3" and bought the Med. The shorts are below my knees which is very annoying. I'll be returning them. Otherwise they seemed well constructed.
