Mom on the Go

Rating:*****
After the arrival of my beautiful son Wade I was left with extra pounds like most new moms. I was determinted to get the weight off, I wanted to be a fun fit mom who could keep up with her kids. I decided on this elliptcal because of the price and features. I love it I can work out while Wade is taking naps because it is so quite. I am proud to say I am back to my before baby weight thanks to the help of my elliptical.

You get what you pay for! This product is loud, not very smooth, and not as sleek as I would have liked. Also it is hard to assemble.

No matter how tight I ...

Rating:*
No matter how tight I fasten the moving arms, they always edge down by at least two inches by the end of my workout. There is something wrong with the display, almost like there is too much humidity inside and it won't display properly. It is VERY hard to read the numbers. After about five 20 minute workouts, the machine has "loosened" and wobbles from left to right every time I take a corresponding step. It really is a good workout, but may be a better machine for a smaller person. You definitely get what you pay for, my recommendation to upgrade and get something better. I am going to return mine and do the same!

Good work out machine but cheap quality

Rating:**
I had used Ellipticals in the Gym and really enjoyed the work out with this machine the first few times i used. However, it was difficult to assemble (well i am not a handy person either so i shouldn't complain). But the parts are cheap and some of the screws wore out during installation. Instructions are not so bad. The handle bars drag down with every work down and you have to manually reset them each time. The Display wont work for me. I have to call for replacement. The work out itself was great. I enjoyed this machine but it starts to making noise after few work outs[...]

Save your money

Rating:*
This product was very hard to put together and the bolts wore out before finishing the elliptical. After ordering new parts the elliptical finally works. However, it is cheaply made and moves back and forth when you work out. There is a reason this elliptical is cheap. Save your money and buy a better product!

frame split after 1.5 years

Rating:*
The frame split after 1.5 years of use. It was used by two people who were well below the 250 lb weight limit. ProForm can't send a replacement part because it is the base. They have to replace the whole thing....which they won't do.

Rating:***
I bought this looking for something compact to use at home, but it was also durable enough to give me a good workout. I had a hard time putting this together, but you can call Pro Form to have someone come out and assemble it for you, which costs an extra $119. I think it might be worth it, because I don't feel like my elliptical is as stable as it should be. The directions are hard to read and the screws and bolts to put it together are not well marked.

Lifts off the floor

Rating:***
This machine is not weighted down in the back. When you use it as you are 'pedaling' the back end lifts up off of the floor making you feel as if you're going to fall over. I will need to find something to weigh down the back end. Otherwise, so far so good.
