I absolutely love these sneakers, I have them in black, white, and blue suede, and managed to find the Puma Soleil Cat! But I had to get them direct from Puma. These are the perfect sneakers for everyday wear, and they are cute enough to not look frumpy. The laces are not your normal shoe laces; they're more of a ribbon, but that can be changed out if you do not like it. You can also fit orthotics in them without taking out the insole.
These are great shoes. This is my second pair. The first ones lasted me over a year and a half of heavy wearing. I'm a college student, and I walk and bike almost everywhere, and they're comfortable for both. They give good support, and I have no blisters. The pictures don't show it very well, but the side panels between the stripes are shiny, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall they're fantastic shoes, and I'm sure I'll buy another pair.
I usually wear a size 10. In this shoe I am a 9.5. Very comfortable shoe. I read the review for the suede with the concern that it gets dirty fast so I opted for this one. While very similar looking to the Etoile this is different. I found this Soleil more comfortable than the Etoile. The Soleil is wider on the top which is more comfortable than the constricting feel of the Etoile.
I wanted to find a pair of sneakers, not for the gym, but for comfortable everyday wear that looked very stylish. PUMA Soleil was the perfect fit!
I wore these every day for 10 days while sightseeing on uneven streets... never a problem.
