Pretty good for camping and backpacking

Rating:****
I purchased this tent with my friends because we frequently go camping and hiking and are doing so to prepare for a Application Trail thru-hike in 2021.

This struck me because it is so light weight, and it is! it is somewhere around 3 or 4 pounds. It is very easy to put up and down. Also it says it can fit 2, but if you want, you can fit 3. we are all about light weight so 3 of us sleep in there. it is more cramped, but if you are dedicated, it will work.

I would DEFIANTLY recommend picking up new stakes for it because the ones that come with it are like paper clips folded out. Also use a piece of tarp or something as a footprint underneath to keep the bottom looking new.

Worked Well

Rating:****
I bought this tent for a 3 day hiking trip in Red River Gorge. It was a bit on the heavy side, but over all worked well. One thing to note is the poles are pretty stiff so it does take some effort to get it set up. The temps got down into the 30s and i had a 35 degree rated bag and i was still pretty warm. For the price you cant beat it!!!

Good for a short trip

Rating:****
My husband and I have two tents, this is our one/two night stay tent. We have used this though severe wind (Open area in Wyoming) and also made it though a bad thunderstorm. Sets up very quickly, within 1o minutes after the first time. Fits a queen air mattress inside. It isn't an expensive tent, which is why we got it so just keep that in mind. We have been very happy with it.

You get what you pay for

Rating:**
Good tent for backyard camping or a weekend family trip (so long as you can retreat to the car in case of a storm). I used this tent for a 4 day backpacking trip in Colorado. I've only used it about 3-4 times before, and when I was setting it up, the floor seams started ripping. It rained the last night, not hard, but constant and long into the early hours of the morning. The tent leaked quite a bit. I will definitely have to invest in a better tent for future trips, but I will keep this around for those 'less than adventurous' occasions.

Given the inexpensive price and easy setup, the tent may be worth it, depending on how seriously you are relying on it.

AWFUL!

Rating:*
Purchased this tent for a weekend camping trip. It rained on the first night - not a hard, driving rain but a steady rain, and the fly leaked at the seams. Lucky for me I had an EZ-up canopy which I moved over the tent in order to stay dry. Needless to say it's being returned. Don't waste your time or money on this one.
