For 2009 Race Face has improved and refined their "X-Type" outboard bearing crank/BB combos. Atlas splits the difference between the feathery, XC-race oriented Deus crank and the heavy-duty Diabolus. Their ideal combination of strength and weight makes them ideal for most riders today.

Features:

• Features 6mm of chainline adjustment, plus the granny spider can be removed if you want to run a chainguide
• Heat treated, thickwall cromoly spindle
• Included outboard bearing (bottom bracket) cups are triple sealed and factory filled with Phil Wood grease. No seperate bottom bracket, everything you need is in this kit
• Manufactured in Canada using OPTIM-AL, which is 20% stronger than 7050 aluminum
• Strong AND light - 40 grams less that Shimano Saint
