| overall, this is a pretty good helmet, and it's better yet if you can pick it up at end of season prices. i (fortunately) can't vouch to how well it stands up to impact, but it's lightweight, the venting works well (warm when closed and noticeably airier when open), and it's not overly bulky like other helmets i've worn. there are two things i don't like: the first (and more important) is that the earpads squeeze my ears a little bit. it's uncomfortable at times, but i usually tune it out fine. to be fair, the tight fit around the ears is actually a boon for keeping earbuds from slipping out. ;) second, the graphics are a pretty lame...barbed wire? c'mon. again not a big deal, though, because the decal gets covered by the goggle strap. | |

| This is a great helmet. Fits my head just right, and works well with my smith i/o goggles. It fits well with the supplied padding, but I removed the inner liner so that i could wear it over my beanie and goggles, which works great. No cons for me. Get a helmet!!! If you think K. Pearce's head injury was bad, just imagine if he wasn't wearing one... | |

| this is a great brain bucket for the money. It is light and comfy. The only down side is the ear pads (which are removable) do come loose when the helmet is off. Just a matter of putting them back in place before you put the helmet on. Once on the earpads stay in place. | |
