Red used a versatile, multi-sport design to let you use the Trace Helmet for snowboarding in the winter and skateboarding in the summer. When the snow melts and you turn your attention to the concrete, remove the Trace Helmet's goggle clip and ear pads and take your rail skills to the skate park. Full-time ventilation lets air flow for quick cooling in any season. Red's ABS shell takes on ice and concrete without flinching, so you can get up and come back for more. **WINTER 2008 COLOR / STYLE** Fall 2008.

Positive Reviews:

Barely know its there

Rating:*****

This helmet is so light I almost forgot I was wearing it, which is fantastic. Its fairly comfortable and it vents pretty well so your head doesn't get too hot. I haven't fallen on it too much, but it does its job if you do. I'm not a huge fan of helmets, but if you want one this is the way to go.

Cool !!

Rating:*****

That was the word my son Axel said when he saw it ... we live in a ski resort Chapelco, in Patagonia Argentina -so I bought it for him to wear it this winter season 2009 .Im very very glad with everything I have bought in Dogfunk !

Very good helmet

Rating:****

This helmet fits very well if you follow the sizing guide even if you do not wear a beanie under. the chin strap fits very comfortably. The goggle clip in the back is very flimsy and does not stay attached well... hence the 4 star rating.

Trace

Rating:****

The helmet is very nice and protects your head well. but the issue i had is that it is fairly hard to hear through the thick earpads and hard to fit earbuds under them if u listen to music.

Life saver

Rating:*****

I've seen this helmet save a life. Brother ended up in a coma, but he is alive. So I bought one myself, and I love it.

Neutral Reviews:

Kinda cool..

Rating:***

I purchased the black crows version of this helmet. The color of the helmet looks black on here but it is actually matte gray. The graphics are ok. Looked a little kiddish once I put it on my head. I also have a rather large head and this helmet does nothing but make you big headers look like a human bobble head. The inner foam slides around inside the abs shell a bit which got annoying fast. Other than those few gripes the helmet fit's nicely and does what it's meant to do. It's a decent helmet for the price you're paying.

Nice helmet, but not Five Star

Rating:***

I got this helmet for its simple and low profile look. It's good quality and is pretty warm for the most part. The issues I have had with it, are the ear-flaps constantly falling out of place mid run/especially after any downward force for landings and also the helmet clip for goggles is really flimsy and doesn't do much (but I guess that doesn't matter for those wearing their goggles inside their helmet). All in all, a good helmet, especially for the price, but I wouldn't buy it again.
