Simply the best gloves for ice climbing

BY FAAAARRR the best gloves for ice climbing!!!

Even though I am a guy, I bought a womans size large of these REI Ones because they fit nicely, are extremely flexible, mostly windproof, water resistant, and provide some durability dealing with ropes. I have tried a lot of gloves in my many years of ice climbing and on a scale of 1-10 these are about a 17 for us ice climbers...where the other 50 pairs of gloves we have tried are about a 4.

We use these mostly for ice climbing, but other applications work well too. We each use two pairs of these gloves for our trips. As when one gets too wet, we switch it out. When we are not climbing, we switch to big mittens - so we have the best of both worlds in 0 degree temperatures.

I am SO bummed out that REI is no longer making these. I hope they start up again as I will definetely buy about 20 of these in womans size large.
