Good price, Good buy | |

| I opted for this pillow instead of the thermarest. I jammed this bad boy in my 42L pack for a weekend trip in South America and I got a great nights sleep. I've also used this pillow when camping in the States and it has been durable and has not become flat. I also own the Quixote synthetic pillow (recommend), which was far more expensive but is also much more compressible. If space is an issue this may not work for you but for the price and the comfort it is a great buy. | |

Light, lofty and firm | |

| Fits perfectly inside my Big Agnes sleeping bag's pillow sleeve. About 4" of fluffy thickness, yet firm. Very comfortable. This "REI Base Camp" pillow is twice as thick as the "REI Travel Down" pillow. I've purchased and used both pillows, but I find this Base Camp pillow to be the most comfortable. When backpacking, I stuff it inside an REI Tuff Lite sack 7 x 15 to help keep it dry. Total weight of the Base Camp pillow in the Tuff Lite sack is about 10.5 oz. | |

Big comfort, little pillow

| This pillow is quite comfortable - I rated it "bulky" and "compact" which is a bit contradictory, but it depends on how much room you're trying to save and how much comfort you want. For the comfort, the room it takes up in the pack is worth it, in my opinion. I use it with an REI Down Pillow and have all the comforts of home! I wish I knew if I could machine wash it! If so, I'd give it 5 stars. | |

For a comfortable backcountry night...

| This pillow is amazing in the car on a long road trip and even better in the backcountry. My fellow hikers made fun of me for bringing a pillow but being comfortable when I sleep is a necessity to me. This pillow is light, keeps its loft, and dries fast. The only complaint I have is it's a little bulky and awkward, so it's slightly hard to pack if you're short on space. | |

Great Pillow!!! | |

| Great product at a great price. We use them when car camping and they workout great. The straps attached allow it to be folded to save room. I have also used REI SportsWrap to compress it smaller for trips that I need more space (probably would work well for backpacking too, but you can use clothes for a pillow backpacking!). | |

Nice to have | |

| Nice pillow. Lofty enough and provides adequate support. Integrated straps for roll up storage are nice. Light enough to bring along if you have room in your pack. Otherwise a stuffsack with some extra clothes makes a fine pillow as well. Great for road trips, air travel, etc. as it is small and packable. | |

| small enough to stuff into a hole in your pack. it sure beats using a log to rest your head on. I even forgot which pocket I put it in and couldnt find it one night this summer. I made sure to dig it out for the second night. | |

Good Value | |

| I bought this pillow for both backpacking and mission trips throughout the world. It's lightweight, pretty packable for a pillow, and a good overall value. I would recommend to a friend. | |
