| I just purchased this skillet and took it on a 25 mile 4 day hike, and used it every morning for breakfast. While the rest of the group were eating oatmeal, I was making scrambled eggs and pancakes in this skillet. Sure, its a tad heavy and takes up a bit of space in your pack, but good breakfasts were worth it to me, and I hardly noticed the weight. It worked great whether using with a stove, or right over the campfire. It seems to distribute heat well across the surface and the no-stick surface worked great. I never used any kind of oil. Because of the no-stick surface, clean up was a breeze. I just used my spatula to scrape it out, then just wiped it down with a wet wipe. For the price, you can't go wrong with this skillet. | |
