Protects Your Bag | |

| I have used a liner for many years. I like using a liner as it keeps your sleeping bag cleaner, adds an additonal +10-15 degrees to your bag rating, and I like the feel of sleeping on fleece as opposed to nylon. I picked this one REI to replace the heavier home made one I've been using. It packs down very small. Sometimes on summer backpacking trips I have slept on top of my sleeping bag using just the liner. | |

| This bag is lightweight and cozy. It makes getting into your sleeping bag a better experience and definately keeps you warmer than your buddies who are sleeping with just their bag. | |

Where's the zipper? | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The bag is incredibly soft and comfy, but it needs a zipper! Scootching into the thing and then into a mummy bag is no fun. And heaven help you if you have to get up in the night. That said, besides being a liner, it works well over a mummy bag to provide insulation and keep your bag, especially down, dry if there's humidity in the air (Pacific Northwesterners take heed). Still...needs a zipper. | |
