Gorgeous Hoody
The picture doesn't do this sweater justice. It is in fact very slim fitting and flattering to the female figure, this picture makes it look awkward and bulky. I love mine in XS in the purple color. It is stylish and casual, great for shopping and walking in the park. I don't usually buy clothes at REI but I am so glad I went in, found lots of good quality tops at more than reasonable prices. REI beats the department stores hands down.
Fabulous hoodie
I adore this hoodie. It fits beautifully on a tall frame, and has a lean, attractive fit that is miles away from the usual frumpy and bulky look of most hoodies. The wool is lightweight but warm, and has held up very well with chilly morning hikes. It's also my go-to for evening walks with the dog. There's a bit of ruching at the bust which adds a bit of feminine style to an otherwise perfectly practical garment.

Nice, but could use higher neck coverage
My favorite merino hoodie got shredded in an accident last year, so I'm looking for a replacement for it and was glad to see REI makes a lightwieght, full-zip merino hoodie with handwarmer pockets (meeting all my criteria for the perfect hoodie).
One problem: the zipper only goes high enough to cover your collar bone, which won't be helpful when the weather turns windy/chilly/rainy. When REI makes V2 of this garment, I hope full neck coverage will be taken into consideration; it would make this hoodie much more useful.
