Compass doesn't work | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Thermometer seemed to work fine, but the compass was almost useless. It had no problem pointing to my pocket knife, but even when isolated from that it never pointed north consistently. The dial gets stuck easily, and you have to balance the thing just right to have it work - but even then it's unreliable. Get a real compass. | |

Buyer gets to keep all of the parts | |

| I bought 3 of these for stocking stuffers for my adult children and adult wife. Recipients attached them to zipper tabs on parkas. Within 3 months all of them had fallen apart. The small size made them hard to read during the short period that they worked. | |

Works. | |

| Holds direction. Within a few degrees of precise temperature. I'd get a better compass for serious navigation but it's handy to keep clipped on my life jacket while in the kayaking. | |

Not the best | |

| A neat gadget, but the fluid in the thermometer separated and the compass capsule developed a bubble over time, making both inaccurate. More of a novelty than serious equipment. | |
