Great for computers!!

Rating:*****
If you're looking for something to transport your laptop back and forth to work, but don't want to carry a man's black briefcase, a rolling suitcase, or a woman's designer purse -- this is the bag for you! I've been searching for something with fun designs and colors that would protect my laptop on my commute to work. This bag is perfect. It is padded and made of high quality materials. So, it can stand the daily wear and tear. But the available prints and fabrics make it a fun accessory too. You won't be the geeky computer nerd when carrying this bag. It is hip and satisfies the flare need for creative people!

Good Looking Product

Rating:***
Very stylish and comfortable on the shoulder or worn across the body, love the briefcase handle too. Seems to be very well made as well, the stitching has not come loose and the flap stitches are very smooth and don't snag during travel, which I am very impressed with. I commute to work on 2 buses and a train one way, so I put the bag through the riggers. I would also bike with thie bag too. I love the fact if I fill this bag to capacity (and them some) the flap still clips shut. Can’t tell how many bags I have that can’t do this! The bag is smaller at the bottom and gets wider at the top.

However, I am disappointed at some of the engineering flaws with this bag. Just big enough to hold 8.5"x11" paperwork with folder, but is just short width and height wise to store a small accordion folder and/or interoffice envelopes - a bit of cramming and jamming. The main compartment is small, so if you carry laptop accessories (mouse, wall plug in, battery, etc.) this will take up most of the main compartment with the laptop. If you don't need the accessories then this would be a good briefcase bag for light days at work or travel. Holds a 14" laptop, the pocket is suspended, meaning the bottom of the pocket doesn't sit on the bottom of the bag, sits further up towards the top and is mounted to the front side of the bag. I have a 17” laptop so can’t comment on location of laptop pocket. I would think it would make the bag front heavy and pull down, scrunch like when sitting of the floor because of the suspended pocket, but again don’t really know. The main compartment could have more a bit more depth. Then again maybe I should consider getting a bigger bag, but I can't find one as good looking as this one.

A key fob in main compartment, which sometimes I wish wasn’t in that location because my keys chew up my paperwork or newpaper. I have to remember to keep the paper in front of a folder. This is probably more a preference than anything else.

The front 3 pockets are roomy, but not gusseted, they lay completely flat and zip tight. Any thing you put in them has to be rather compact and flattish to zip anything in. The interior zip pocket is good. There is also an open easy access pocket on the back to quickly stash items.

Conclusion, redesign the bag to be slightly wider and taller (maybe by and 1”-2” both ways), gusset front pockets and make sure the cover flap can still clip shut when the bag is at full capacity can’t loose this feature! Very good bag over all for more of a very light day at work, out around town all day or large purse.
