I chose "Feels too big" because I usually take a size 8 in Royal Robin, but for this skort, a 6 fits very comfortable. As a matter of fact, my husband, who was in the dressing room with me, said the skort may become too lose if I lost any weight. So, as it is, size 6 fits me great, but I do recommend sizing down if you're between sizes.
I have worn the skort once so far. It is super comfortable. I can crouch in crowded places without ever feeling I'm showing anything improper. The tiny pocket on the back is placed at a spot that I don't recommend putting more than a credit card or driver's license in it. Anything else, even a key, would look bulky and silly sitting on your lower back like that. I'm 5'5" and the length is perfect on me. Hits me a couple of inches above the knees. I wore it a bit "rugged" by pairing it with my Moabs. Husband said it was cute and active looking.

MORE! Give me MORE! Colors, that is...
I have purchased this skirt in the ruby red,black, soapstone, everglade, and navy ~ then purchased a second in each of the colors above except for the everglade! Everglade color is neat, but will be hard to match with most of my tops and sandals. That said, for a 53 year old woman, weight 150 lbs, 5'5" tall, this skirt is incredibly flattering. I ordered seconds thinking I never want to be without this skirt should RR ever discontinue the item. I wonder now if I really need the second as the first 3 I bought 2 summers ago are still like new, though I wore these through the last 2 summers, daily, and intend to do the same this summer. They were perfect for my first trip to the Grand Canyon last summer. Please, RR, a brown and a white would top off my Discovery Skort collection! Exceptional skort!
Perfect skirt for every possible use
I bought this skort as a shorts alternative for a trip to Disney World. I'm so pleased with this purchase in every possible way. It's incredibly comfortable and very flattering. Nothing tight or binding or pinching or leaving red marks around your waist. It packs like a dream and comes out of the dryer perfectly ready to wear. It looked fine with t-shirts on vacation and I even wear it to work as a skirt with a dressier shirt! For theme park visiting in the summer, the moisture repellent features were another added benefit. I went on a wet ride and then just shook the beaded water droplets right off the skirt - nothing wet or clingy at all. My only very minor con is the lack of pockets. There is one back, zipped pocket and that's all. I'd like to have a small hip pocket.

After receiving and wearing the first one I ordered, I had to buy two more in different colors. I'm hoping to find two more colors so I can wear this skort every single day to work. It is just about THE most comfortable piece of clothing I own. I also can wear it for short bike trips. The fabric has a nice stretch so I can fling my leg over my bike without ripping any seams.
I work in a fairly relaxed office environment, so I don't feel underdressed when I wear it. I have gotten many compliments on the skort. Everyone thinks it's a regular skirt.

I love this skort! The fabric feels cool, nice and soft, and looks high quality - not like cheap nylon. I work from home and run errands - it's very comfortable to wear all day. Best thing is that I'm wearing a skirt! It doesn't even feel like I'm wearing shorts. I was going to buy shorts for summer but this skort looks way cuter and feels more comfortable. I bought a size 2 in all colors. Bummed that the Sassafras color isn't available here. I'm 5'0 115 lbs and have a lil' belly but the waistband and cut of the skort conceals it - it flatters and fits very well. You will not regret buying this!
Very Cute and Flattering!
I bought this skort to take on a cruise in a few months. It is absolutely perfect! It's so perfect that I want to wear this now! I might have to buy more. The fabric is great for being active - and for packing - no wrinkles! The style makes me feel "girly". It's very flattering to your figure - even at a size 12 or 14.
IF I had to say one complaint it would be that ths shorts are a little too short - I wish they were longer - I am not one of those size 0 girls with no thighs. This is the reason for only 4 stars and not 5.

So Lovable
This skort is the best! I have to confess, I have used this skort as a "skirt", dressing it up (black), but it's probably not the best idea since the black is a bit of a faded black. It's definitely capable of a more refined casual look though! As for performance, I just hiked 12 miles in one yesterday and my fat thighs only got a little bit of chaffing on them from it riding up. So cool and comfortable and ready for dinner on the way home! I have four of these in all different colors. . .they are my version of shorts (because no one wants to see the fat thighs!).
My FAV piece, but dryer destroyed it!
I bought this skirt for a trip to Florida and wore it basically every day for two weeks. I had other skirts, but this one fit so perfectly and was so comfortable for hours of walking that I didn't want to wear anything else. I have also worn it to work with a nice top and gotten several compliments on it. Tragedy struck last night when it came out of the dryer half melted, though! The clasp must have gotten stuck some where and despite the low dryer temp, completely melted a chunk of the skirt off!! Lesson learned - air dry when possible! I'm purchasing another, though, because its worth it.
Almost perfect!
The first weekend I wore these I didn't want to take them off. Wore them hiking all over up and down mountains, through lakes and rivers, and even the next day after a good rinsing, out shopping. The fit and style is perfect, and I often have trouble finding things that don't gap since I tend to be curvier on the bottom.
That being said, for me, the reason I wear a skort is to have the flattering appearance of a skirt while keeping my legs from chafing, and this had one feature and and not the other.

I am back for more colors, and feel like I need to stock up in case this style goes away! I am not a skirt wearer, but wanted something a little more flattering to wear than shorts all the time, so thought I would give this a go. I am totally sold. These are incredibly flattering and incredibly stretchy! Just last night I was pulling kids up and down a wall, bending, stretching and climbing, and not an issue at all. You really can hike in a skirt! Best of all, they look great on the town too!

I really like the style of the skort, but the shorts under the skirt ride up as I'm walking which allows my legs to rub together and chaff. I have larger thighs which contributes the the shorts riding up, but still, it's uncomfortable and annoying. It would be perfect for me if the shorts part was spandex. I get compliments every time I wear it so of course I like it enough to keep, but probably won't be buying another.
