| Great Jeans for a woman - As other review said, a bit scary to order jeans on-line; especially since everyone's definition of size 8 is different! I wear a size 8 Ann Taylor, and am in love with my size ten Royal Robbins. Great fit. About 2 fingers below the belly button, a bit higher in back. This is perfect for me. Not "mom" jeans, but not so low. In not very tall, and jeans that are too low rise make me look squat. The leg line is fairly straight and the Jean stitching on the outside seam makes a long line lengthening the look of the leg. The pocket in the back is set a bit higher. This works great for those of us with "flat butt". The fabric is wonderful, soft, has a smooth hand and is substantial without being heavy. I am ordering a second pair in the lighter blue. I am in my 50's, fit, with no hips and flat butt. These are not for curvy women, but if you are like me, they make the most curve out of what we have. | |

| Great jeans - These are great jeans. Very true to fit and sits at a great level on my waist-a lot of jeans now sit too low for my shape, or way too high, these are just right. Buying jeans online can be spooky because of size variation, but I just followed the size chart and all is well! Thanks Zappos! | |

| Decent Jeans - I am also an Ann Taylor 8, and the 10's fit me perfectly. The rise hits about 1.5 inches below the belly button. The inseam is probably around 33 - so if you are tall or want to wear with heels, you might need a longer jean. | |
