Lightweight, strong, compact cooler | |

| I've taken this on my overnight camping trips via mountain bike and trailer on the C&O trail and I've been quite pleased. It's very lightweight, yet quite strong and just the right size to fit in the Burley Nomad bike trailer. The cooler can hold about two days of food (3 meals/day) with careful packing. While it will only stay cool for about 36 hours with blue ice, that's enough for a weekend of camping and plenty of hots dogs, taco meat, and a little beer. There is no drain on this so you must turn it over to get warm water out, however blue ice can control this problem, reduce weight, and increase storage space. Also, freezing everything ahead of time also helps keep things cool. The interior/exterior cleans up very well and the dual lids are very convenient and lock tightly. All in all, I've not found a better compact hard-side cooler that performs as well and I'd buy it again. | |
