Head out for a run with Ruffwear's Flat Out Leash securely clipped to Rover's collar at one end and around your waist at the other for comfortable, hands-free running. When your romp is over, hold the handle of this 6-foot leash crafted with strong, 1-inch webbing in your hand, and when you stop at the outdoor bistro downtown, clip the leash around a sturdy table leg while you both take a breather with a bowl of water and an espresso.
The Flat Out Leash by Ruff Wear looks normal, but when used for a nice walk, it "unleashes" its surprises. Use it like a standard leash, or use the buckle to tighten around your wrist when needing a break or walking fast, and then when you want to run or walk hands free, simply lengthen the buckle to wrap around your waist. Finally, clip the leash around a hitching post to let everyone rest.
A strong 25 millimeter tubular webbing with a side release buckle.

It may look simple, but the Ruffwear Flat Out Dog Leash (Patterns) offers more surprises than a puppy left alone for five minutes. Don't be fooled by basic appearances-this leash does it all. A typical walk may start out with leash in hand, then swap from handheld to waist-worn as the run begins. Clip the leash around a hitching post to let everyone rest.

The Flat Out six-foot nylon webbing lead has some particularly useful features. It all starts at the handle: it is adjustable and utilizes a side release buckle. This built-in adjustability allows the lead to be converted from a hand held leash to a waist worn leash with a quick adjustment. The leash can also be clipped to a hitching post while you run in for a grande latte. When the need arises, a traffic handle positioned close to the E-Z snap hook lets you take control and rein in your pup.

Much more than just a piece of webbing with a clip, the Ruffwear Flat Out Dog Leash includes two separate handles to provide the right length for a secluded trail or a crowded city sidewalk. The main handle also has a quick-release clip which allows you to attach it to a picnic table, so your pup stays put while you enjoy an outdoor lunch with friends. Ruffwear used their E-Z snap hook to help you quickly release your pooch from the Flat Out Dog Leash when it's time to run free.

Perfect | |

This leash is absolutely perfect. The strap is thick and durable. The collar clip is metal, not plastic like a lot of the other leashes. The handle is great too - It has clip on it so you can attach it to poles or whatever you may need to anchor your dog too. The size of the loop adjusts too so you can anchor them around pretty much anything. The size adjust can also be used to shorten the leash. My dog is a puppy right now, but when he grows up I am sure that the additional handle right next to the collar will be nice in case I need to keep him close. This is a fantastic leash - I highly recommend it for anyone with a larger dog.

| I have had this leash for about a month now and absolutely love it. I love being able to jog with the leash around my waist as well as using it like a "normal" leash. It is very durable yet lightweight. | |

Loved It! | |

This leash was awesome! My puppy was left unattended with it and she chewed through one end. It was not the fault of the product in any way! I liked it so much that I ordered a new one that afternoon!

This leash was exceptional in every way. It could have been a bit thicker, but it is tough anyway.
