This toy is like bubblegum for a dog, I gave it to my avy rescue dog, and she instantly fell in love with it.... until my 9 yr old yellow lab got ahold of it, and he was in heaven, guess I need another. I do believe however if you have a puppy, this toy would save hundreds of dollars in shoes, etc. if my 9yr old rolls his eyes with pleasure while chewing it, I can only imagine how a 5 - 9 month teething puppy would love this! | |

| I was looking specifically for a dog toy that could withstand the rigor of a friend's whippet. Not only is the toy as durable as could be desired, my friend's whippet immediately seized upon it and wouldn't relinquish it until bedtime, so it's obviously attractive in the right way. | |

He's now trained to fetch as I yell "Gourdo"! Although the rope got chewed out in about 10 seconds, the rubber is nuclear in the bombproof level. Like all the Ruffwear stuff, this is very well made. | |

| This is the only toy that we have found that lasts more than a few days. This toy is almost indestructible. The only thing I would change is the rope which our dog chews through immediately. | |
