Good boots for the price

| Only got these boots about a week ago but FWIW - They are warmer than I had expected, it's been mostly single digits here and with Smartwool hiking socks and these boots my feet have stayed warm and cozy. When I first put them on I was afraid they were too narrow but after fiddling with the laces I was able to get a very comfortable fit (I'm a 13 medium and ordered a size 13) If you have wide feet you'd have a problem. If I'd payed full price for them I wouldn't be very impressed but for the sale price REI had they are a good buy. Everything is frozen here (except my feet, now) so I can't speak to their waterproof quality. | |

Happy So Far | |

| I just bought these boots on sale and tried them out in about 3-5 inches of snow walking my dog a mile or two. They are light weight, pretty easy to get on and off and tighten (no strings to tie). Kept my feet warm and dry, and handled the snow well. They are also comfortable for me, not too rigid or narrow. I have a somewhat wide foot, and I am usually a 10.5 in shoe size and occasionally a size 11, but I definitely had to go with 11's for this this boot, that includes thick insulated socks. They look pretty nice too. | |

Very happy with this light winter boot.

| Purchased this for winter use for Northern California up to the Pacific Northwest. The 20 degree rating is ample enough for the winters encountered here. I also intend to use them for regular day-trip snowshoe adventures. Just used them for a five mile trip today in Lassen National Park and they fit perfectly. No problems on or off the snowshoes. They are incredibly light, easy to get on or off, and the Salomon lacing system is the easiest one to use. This boot was exactly what I was looking for, and the price is quite fair with this many features. | |

basketball shoes for the snow/winter

| Being a tech. in the outdoors...and working in freezing temps. this shoes are uber light weight... there for I'm quick on my feet...plus i never have to take of my gloves off(you never have to tie)due to the clever lacing system...and the design of the shoes reminds me of Michael Jordan's shoe line, without the complicated carbon fiber shank...those are just bonuses...the most I'm concern was... does those shoes keep my feet warm? yes they do... What i think is...If Jesus would've visit earth again he would probably choose this shoes for winter...utmost excellent... | |

| I've had these boots for roughly 3 months now. I gave them a chance and am satisfied with owning these boots. I work for a delivery company and am walking and constantly on the move all day long in all conditions. These boots have kept my feet dry and warm for the most part in cold weather. The drawstring and velcro hook are great for getting in and out of them quickly. They are snug and have good ankle support. They are incredibly light weight so my feet never get tired. | |

Keeps feet warm and dry in bitter cold!

| I needed a pair of winter boots to keep my feet warm and dry during these nasty Chicago winters. I'm a commuter so when having to wait for the train in the bitter cold, these keep my feet warm. and then walking from the station to work, my feet remain dry. These boots are light weight and comfy and fit true to size. | |

Super light-weight | |

| - Bought these for snowshoeing and general trudging around town. They are much, much lighter than my Vasque winter boots and still give good support. - The quick lacing system is neat, but doesn't always stay snug. - The width is comfy for me, but I have a very narrow foot. An average width foot might be cramped. | |

| I used them on two long ski trips and was very pleased. My friends complemented me on them. Warm boots; easy to put on; great in snow. Not good on ice. | |

| Loved how warm and light they are, and the good looking style. No dislikes, but if you have a wide foot they might be a little tight. | |

What I've Been Looking For...

| I love the look, weight, and function. Slightly expensive for this type of boot and should have a vibram sole. | |

| Great looking pair of boots. But... not comfortable. After 3 days of wearing them all day long, I decided to return them. | |

Keeps you dry, but poor durability.

| I bought these boots last fall in anticipation for the cold and snowy winter. The boots are comfortable and provide excellent protection from wet/cold conditions; however, I've only worn them around town and out on the trial only once and they are already showing signs of wear. The inside seam near the arch on both boots is already coming apart. They're supposed to be a "seamless" boot, but whatever glue they used to hold these boots together just isn't enough. If you can get past fixing the inside seam every now and then these are still a decent pair of winter boots. | |
