Great trail shoes! |

| These trail shoes were comfortable, straight out of the box, and are really stable for running over rough trails with plenty of rocks and roots. They do come in about a half size on the large side, but that is no bad thing for hilly trails, where you need room at the end of the shoe - if you want to keep your toe nails!! However, over distance they may rub a little - I've done 14 miles in them, over rough terrain, and I felt like the toes were just on the way to blistering up. We'll see how they fare over longer distances. The shoe gives great toe protection though, and you really can't feel it if you bash your toes. The only real downsides are that the shoes feel quite heavy (more like hiking shoes than running), and the gore-tex fabric is a little sweaty, so probably more appropriate for winter use. Overall a great pair of shoes for those who like running the rough trails. |

Another good shoe from Salomon! |

| This is my favorite Salomon running shoe so far (5th pair). The cushioning feels like that of a road shoe which I love. As always with Salomon, they have excellent traction. I run 5 days/week and have yet to be dissapointed with the shoe. Salomons do have trouble with the laces breaking. You can buy replacments. ( I found them at REI.com) The laces always seem to break where they first cross near the toe. I've been putting electrical tape around the lace at that point and have had no problems since. |

Great for walking and hiking |

| I love salomon shoes and I bought these in my usual size and they fit exactly as they should. They are quite nice looking and are great for walking and hiking. HOWEVER they are supposed to be trail RUNNING shoes but sadly they lack adequate shock absorption, so that's why I've given them a 4/5 and also because the fantastic lacing system is way too long and I don't really know where all the extra length is supposed to go so I usually secure it under one of the cross laces. |

| I have several pairs of the XA Pro 3D's, but this is my first pair of Wings. I have only worn them for a few light hikes so far and it has been dry, but I think they may be my new favorite pair of Salomon's! They look great around town and feel great on the trail. I haven't run in them, but the stability on volcanic trails seems great! And the price at Sierra Trading Post was outstanding as always:) |

Great Salomon Walking shoes |

| I have been a fan of Salomon Trail running shoes for 3 years, and this time I decided to buy a waterproof version for fall and winter (I live in Northwest). They have been working great for me, same great comfortable shape as the non-waterproof ones, light, and fairly durable (as much as you can expect such a light shoe to be - 1-2 years). |

great shoes! |

| These really stay dry when wet outside. I wore them on a 3 day backpack trip as well and they were awesome and comfortable. I ordered a half size smaller than normal, and they were borderline still large for my feet. |

Better than the GORTEX MODEL-THIS IS IT! |

| I own 4 pair of Solomons and each model a bit different. These are the only ones I would buy going forward. I think they are far better than the more expensive waterproof GorTex model. DON'T HESITATE ON THESE. |
