Scarpa Liskamm GTX
Replaced previous Scarpa boots (ALPM4) after 10+ years and huge hours of hard wear in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. High expectations of Scarpa were exceeded with the Scarpa Lishkamm GTX. My hunting and tramping often results in wet boots, scree runs and a lot of abuse from scrub in rough terrain carrying heavy loads. The rough outer leather makes a world of difference to longevity of the boot - they simply do not cut up unlike smooth full grain leather. The Vibramm sole provides excellent under foot stability with little flex. The high cut provides ankle protection with the benfit of greater walking movement due to design compared to my former Scarpa ALPM4. Breaking-in time was minimal. The Liskamm is made bombproof and I look forward to their use, time and again. Not a silent boot, but if you are hard on your gear and hunt / tramp off trail in rough terrain you can be 100% confident. These boots are superior manufactured and worthy of support.

Their SL M3 boots are very good boots as well. All their boots from italy are top notch. If they say made in China don't bother, they will be the same junk that you would find at WalMart.
