Proper warm and snug | |

| Very pleased with the purchase. Like all my boots this one needed a few days of carpet walking to feel right, i added a heavy sock to the liner to get myself comfortable so i advise not pulling them out of the box and going on a hike. As one is dealing with laces it is best to adjust as with hockey skates-pull lower laces up to top and double knot because of synthetic fiber lace. This boot is priced right. | |

"Plastic that climbs like leather...Pretty SWEET!" | |

| You would think that these boots are leather or MOOSEJAW hide; however they are plastic. They climb extremely well for a plastic boot with a good range of flexibility and feel, which is unusual for plastics. The inner shell is form fitting and keeps your tootsies warm and dry even on extended trips at high altitude (like Denali!!! Been there, summit'd that in these boots). After a season in these I would say they hold up rather well. | |

| In response to Slide from Colorado Springs, CO on 1/3/2008. Slide said, "...Scarpa gives you little patches for the wear points on the liner" Inner boot from any manuf is made of softer material than the shell. My Koflach and Lowa inner boots did. Any such material rubbing against the shell, especially on the hinge/pivot will wear. Scarpa is wise to help customers with that. | |

Wow, these are light | |

| Great fit and the dexterity for a plastic boot for ice climbing is really amazing (I used Koflach before, boat anchors). I have worn them into the single digit temps and they are very warm. My only concern is longevity. They don't look all that tough and Scarpa gives you little patches for the wear points on the liner. Makes you wonder. | |

| have used these on vertical ice for three trips so far, no breaking in ,felt good from the start hiking into the climbs was a treat ,with crampons on they were still more comfy than my previous single boots i have not worn them in temps below 20 degrees yet, however i feel confident they will do fine. | |

| Im using this boot for ice climbing and mountaineering in the white mountains of NH.The boot runs alittle narrow in size so I went up one full size and that worked for me. | |
