INSANE edging!!! | |

| These are THE shoes if you want a great all around sport climbing shoe that edges like a razor blade. These shoes are narrow, asymmetrical, tight fitting, wrap around your foot, and the quality is top notch. The mid sole is very arched and sucks up into your foot leaving no dead spots. All of the power is focused on your toes and on the edges. The heel is just about as good as the amazing fitting Solution from Sportiva. This shoe is like your Miura or Anasazi, but better people. These shoes edge like there is no tomorrow. You can stand on things you can't even see!!! And even though they shine the most while edging, they perform just as well at all other situations in a typical sport climb. And even though they have laces, they are easy to lace up quickly. Another great feature is that they keep their downturned shape because of the wrap around midsole design, just like the new Miura VS and Solution. I can't say enough great things about these shoes. The only problem would be that Scarpa's sizing is off and they don't offer their shoes up to sizes 46. They actually probably are about a full size smaller than La Sportiva's. So if you wear a size 44 in Sportiva's, then a size 45 is more than likely what you would need in this shoe. Kind of sucks for people with larger feet as they will not be able to experience this amazing shoe. But other than that, they are pretty much the best shoe I've ever used, and I've used them all. | |

"Great Pair of shoes but make sure you get the right size" | |

| I absolutely love these shoes. I mostly boulder with them and they come in handy on steep sport stuff, but crack climbing with them as tight as mine are would crush your toes into mush. I got them a full size too small. they stretched a bit but are still excruciating to wear.Mine stay in place even untied. the edging is phenomenal in these shoes as well as bomb-proof heel hooks. I recommend either a good fit or a remarkably high pain tolerance could let you get a smaller size and even better edging precision. Also it's worth mentioning that the shoes are VERY asymmetric so back stepping takes a little bit more technique than with a normal pair of shoes but you get used to it fast | |

| I purchased this shoe from Moosejaw a few months ago. It took two weeks to arrive The edging is great. Toe/heel are hooks great. Very aggressive. Tight fit..... It's not just the aggressiveness, however, which makes the Spectro Boot feel vice-like. Scarpa likes to make their shoes a full size smaller than most brands with the largest being a 45. Needless to say I feel like my toes are dying during every long sport climb and every second afterwards in which I spend untying the lengthy laces. Really though, I am happy with my buy and would recommend these babies to any sport climber. | |

| I'm very pleased with this shoe. Its a great edge shoe... you can walk miniscule cracks. Started off very uncomfortable but after breaking in it is normal for a climbing shoe. | |
