| I bought this helmet for my 8 yr old son (little league football). This buy was an upgrade for a helmet that I'd bought about a month earlier. I didn't like the way the other helmet fit on my son's head. This helmet fits better and has more padding for much better head protection. I like the four point chin strap protection plus the "in-helmet" strapping option. I also suggest the Adams 4-point "hinged" protective chinstrap (the straps are hinged at the chin guard); a great accessory for a wonderful helmet. My son says he feels, looks and acts like a pro (LOL). This helmet costs a little more than the Schutt Youth Air Standard; but, it's worth the few extra pennies. A definite MUST BUY for your child. | |

| Many football helmets hurt the first few days that you wear it because they have to mold to your head. But the schutt has a real soft outer padding and still very supportive. I recommend to any player from pee-wee football to junior varsity in high school. | |
