Excellent Product... after modification

| This product is great for what it is intended for. It is "hostel compliant" as far as being a sleep liner sheet, but also, traveling around the world on a budget, I find myself (often) preferring NOT to trust the hotel bedding and just making my own little comfortable sleep area. It sounds paranoid, I know, but if you ever saw that 60 Minutes expose where they sent forensic experts to take samples, swabs and black light examination of a dozen "top" hotels in the US and what they found (!!!).... ewww. The travel liner sets my mind at ease since no part of my body has to touch the bedding. But wait, that's not all... LOL... it makes a luxurious soft sleeping bag liner when camping and a comfortable "light" bag and cover up when sleeping on trains, planes, and airports. Of all the materials available for a liner (cotton, Coolmax, silk), silk is the best IMO if you can afford it because not only is it the thinnest and lightest, but it is also strong and insulative (adding 10 degs F to any bag that you add it to). The integrated pillow pouch is an excellent idea! The pillow stays put because it is attached, and you can use just about anything in your luggage as a pillow (like a Polartec jacket). It is easy to wash. It has a generous length... but honestly, I would prefer just a bit more width as I always felt a bit "confined". This is what led me to the modification which made it better for me. I opened up one side of the "bag" and installed a zipper that goes halfway down (which made it more roomy). The zipper has a contrasting colour tape which makes the "opening" much easier to find in the dark. I like that it rolls up into this tiny little ditty bag and barely takes any space and yet it adds so much comfort, value, and utility to my travels. I highly recommend it. | |

bad hostess | |

| This liner packs up small and light in its own small stuff bag. It is convenient as a light sleeping bag liner that is easily machine washed or as a liner in hotels, hostels and at the home of "the bad hostess" who didn't change the sheets after the last guests (icky). It adds a little bit of warmth but is pleasant on a hot summer day. | |

Not just for the germaphobes!

| I only needed to use this sleep sheet a few times on my 4 month trip through SE Asia, but those few times were definitely worth it! I used it on an overnight train and a few dodgy hostels and hotels. My only complaint is that it's a little claustrophobic feeling, since it's so slim, (and I'm only 5' 3" and 120lbs). | |

| I have had this for 8 years and just love it. I rarely leave on a trip without it. Gives me just that extra touch luxury I need when out on a trip for over a months time. I even use it in the summer when I'm too lazy to wash my bed sheets. | |

Great Emergency Bedding

| This is great for sleeping in when stranded in an airport, stuck on a plane, or having to grab a quick nap on a Lazy-Boy or couch. The pillow insert is nice for isolating yourself from a suspect pillow. It actually keeps the warmth in too. | |

A bit of elegance, but perfect is hard

| It is silk which is mostly good and some bad. In the dark it was hard to get into it, so I sewed a white, cotton strip across anterior edge of opening | |

| This is the perfect travel/hostel sheet. It's soft & comfortable and packs easily into the really small stuff bag. It doesn't have to be hand washed and seems pretty durable. | |

| I travel around Europe mostly, staying in hostels which are not known for the great mattresses. The bag liner gives the comfort and sense of cleanliness that I appreciate. | |
