| My girlfriend and I are archaeologists and have to camp frequently for our job and for pleasure. The xplate is great because it acts as a cutting board as well as a plate. I love that they can be wiped out with a towel or napkin if water is an issue and how light and durable they are. My only complaint is that the sides are fairly unstable when fully extended. That is to be expected given the compact design. I wouldn't let it deter anyone one from buying on and in fact, I'm buying another one. | |

The X-Plate is a legit backcountry plate. It's highly collapsible, somewhat lightweight, and the bottom can be used as a cutting board. These things are food safe, can go down to 40F, up to 356F, can be used with boiling water, and are dishwasher safe. Talk about bombproof. These things rock! | |
