The idea of the Shimano M Series is to provide serious MTB enthusiasts with the efficiency, fit, stability and durability necessary for high-level off-road performance.

The super tough Shimano Men's SH-M182 Mountain Bike Shoes show up to the trail ready to kick ass. Rigid carbon fiber-reinforced soles create highly-efficient power transfer, effectively using every ounce of the pedaling energy you send them. Removable composite toe spikes increase traction in mud or sand, and breathable mesh with polyurethane-coated leather uppers provide extreme comfort. Off-set straps prevent pressure points, and a micro-adjust buckle allows for subtle adjustments, giving you a custom fit.

Stiff as a Board | |

After owning a pair of Shimano shoes for 14 years I finally decided to get a new pair. After riding in these for a few weeks I can honestly write a review worth reading. First of all, these shoes are stiff. Not like stiff drink stiff, but like stiff as a board stiff. They put the power down right where you need it. The ground. When I got out of the saddle and let it rip, these shoes held up to the most demanding of rides. The buckle works flawlessly and they fit perfect. I even got the same size I wore 14 years ago, and the sizing did not change a bit. So if you are looking for a great shoe for an impeccable price, these are the answer to your prayers. Just don't drink and ride.

This shoe is fantastic. I have worn Shimano shoes (road and mtb) for 18yrs and these are the best yet. I love the stiffness of the carbon sole and the range of adjustment the rachet buckle gives you. If Shimano shoes fit your feet, you will love this shoe...
