Just what I needed |

| I purchased a very similar Sierra Designs down jacket from Sierra Trading Post a number of years ago, and basically wore it out. It was my favorite jacket for moderately cold weather (-20 and above), as it is super lightweight, warm and very comfortable. I recently purchased the Sierra Designs Nebulon down jacket, and it is even better than the older version. I really like the light weight, but for really cold weather I wear my heavy-duty parka which weighs about four times as much as the Nebulon, and is very bulky. Here in interior Alaska the Nebulon jacket is totally adequate for most of the year, and for the price, comfort and styling, it is great. It is a no frills jacket, but at 1.25 pounds it keeps the chill off and is very comfortable. |

| I had been thinking about getting a down jacket for about three months before I purchased this. I kept reading different reviews, and was aiming towards one of the "top of the line" ($300+) jackets. My downstairs neighbor is a sales rep for Sierra Designs, and I actually bought one of his old samples for my son. I absolutely loved the down jacket that my son was wearing, and finally decided to get this one. I waited for a STP sale / email coupon, and ended up paying only [$] for this jacket.I couldn't be more pleased:1) Stylish2) Rugged3) Light-weight4) Warm+It is great for wearing around town, hiking, and going to BEARS games (Da' Bears!).Overall rating: A Solid "A"Keep up the good work, Sierra Designs! And thanks! |

The long and short |

| Body a little long and sleeves a little short. Price was great and Sierra Trading, as usual, an absolute pleasure. Shipped in a day, packaged well and exactly as described. It's a great deal but just know that the sleeves are just a touch short and the body a touch long. Still works and does'nt really make for an awkward fit. Material, zippers and fill all are high quality. |

| We live in Minnesota and my husband needed a warm jacket to utilize for work that looked good (medical sales). He really likes this jacket. The only drawback is that my husband is a little bigger around the chest, but has a short torsoe, so the large was the best option and is just a little snug around the shoulder area. Overall a great product, especially for the price. |

Great Jacket |

| This is a great coat for moderate winter weather. My 700 fill down coat is sometimes too warm for outdoor activities and this one with proper base layering fits the bill perfectly. It is not too large to stow when necessary, has plenty of room for multiple layers and is easy to vent or close up. Couldn't be happier. |

Decent, warm, and lightweight coat |

| We got this coat for our October trip to China. We are trying to keep within the stringent weight limits and this coat is perfect. It fits well, I can stuff it in a "shoe sack" to make a pillow and it doesn't weigh very much. It seems like it will be plenty warm for our needs. |

| Jacket very comfortable! Chest/belly on XXL is a bit large(maybe good if you need that). Jacket has extended back, but I have a long torso and it could be a bit longer. Not nearly as bad as some, but does tend to creep up when you sit and stand. Very light yet warm for cold weather. |

Really Bhitchen' Down Jacket |

| Great jacket for the price. Just enough fill to give you warmth, yet not overheat. Fits well under my shell jacket. Best trick of the jacket? Built in stuff sack that zips closed into a very compact package. Perfect for late spring through early fall in the Sierras. |

| Good down jacket. Your not going to wear this up on Denali, well OK, maybe as a BC jacket, but not up high. Great value for what it is supposed to do...keep you warm in the back country. Im a med/large get the large, fits just right. |

| This jacket is a great surprise. It's much better than "you get what you pay for"...this is a really warm, light weight and inexpensive jacket. Tight arm cuffs and adjustable bottom of jacket seals in the heat. Only con is that it doesn't have a hood |
