It's leak proof but not unbreakable. | |

| Wouldn't you know, I dropped my beloved Sigg with the lid open and it just happened to land on the lid, which, of course, was open. The little black thing in the middle just snapped off. This protrudes when it's open.I had to order a new lid. Silly amount of money for a lid [...]. But I love my Sigg so it's worth it. My only complaint about the Sigg is how easy it is to have it slip out of the hand or off the tractor. Hence, it dings and lids can break. I'd like a handle, please. Good lid. I only put water in my Sigg and carry it everywhere - so I can't tell you whether or not the lid is hard to clean or smells like beer after awhile.Sorry. | |

Not a good lid | |

| As other reviews have noted, stick with the screw top. These break easily (I have broken two): they will not stand up to rugged use. The water flow can best be described as a trickle. I still use mine for bicycling since I can't fiddle with a screw top on the bike, but I am about to buy a screw top to replace it the rest of the time. | |

Not as good as old kind | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have had the old caps which are much simpler and resemble a standard sports bottle cap. Those old caps are much easier to use than this new fancy kind. With the new kind, you have to hold he bottle, and push down on the lid with one finger, and then are rewarded with a small trickle of water. Really not so good. | |

Don't buy this | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Don't bother buying this - the other review was right. It's annoying to use, and even when using both hands to press down you can still barely get any water out. I ended up unscrewing it and drinking straight from the bottle. | |

Waste of money | |

| This broke the first time my daughter used it. Don't waste your money, stick with the screw top. | |

Not bad | |

| It fits the Sigg bottles perfectly but it's not as simple to use as a bike bottle: you can't work it with your teeth. I have also shattered one cap. It cleans easly and doesn't get smelly or keep a taste. | |
